FFP Digital is a one person web and software business based in Ipswich, Queensland, building websites for physiotherapy and allied health clinics across Brisbane and Ipswich. A clinic site from FFP has online booking embedded from Cliniko, Nookal, Halaxy or Splose, with GA4 set up so you can see which bookings the website brought in, and copy written to the Ahpra advertising guidelines, which means no review widget and no before and after photos. A clinic website is quoted after a 15 minute call, as one fixed price agreed before any work starts. Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy in Newmarket is a current client. Ring David Webster on 0459 567 884 or email hello@ffpdigital.com.au.
What a physio clinic website has to do
Most patients look a clinic up on a phone, and a fair share of them do it at night after the pain has stopped them sleeping. So the site has three jobs before it has any others.
- A booking path that works on a phone. A book button in the first screen, on every page, that opens your real diary rather than a contact form someone reads on Monday. If the patient has to ring, the number is one tap.
- A first screen that says the discipline and the suburb. "Physiotherapy in Newmarket" in the first line, not a slogan. That is the line Google and the answer engines quote, and it is the line a patient checks before they scroll.
- The funding mix handled on the page. Private patients, DVA, Medicare chronic condition management plan referrals from a GP (the items clinics still call CDM), WorkCover Queensland, NDIS and private health all land on the same site, and each needs to know in one line whether you take them and what to bring. The booking form captures the referral type so reception is not ringing to ask.
What FFP Digital builds
- A fast site on your own domain, built phone first, with the hosting, analytics and booking accounts in your name.
- A page for each service you want to be found for and a page for each location, each with the suburb in the title and the booking button in the first screen.
- Online booking embedded or linked from your practice software (Cliniko, Nookal, Halaxy or Splose), so a booking goes straight into the diary.
- A funding page covering DVA, Medicare chronic condition management plans, WorkCover, NDIS and private health, written in plain language.
- GA4 and Google Business Profile set up so you can see which bookings came from the site, from Google, from a GP referral or from word of mouth.
- Copy checked against the Ahpra advertising guidelines before it goes live.
How a job runs
- A 15 minute call. What you treat, where, what software you run and what is wrong with the site you have now.
- A screenshare. We look at your current site, your Google Business Profile and your online booking settings together, so the quote is for your clinic and not a template.
- One written quote, one fixed price. Agreed before any work starts. Nothing is added later without you saying yes first.
- The build, with two short check ins. Everything else happens by message, in your own time, between patients.
- Go live, then measure. We check the bookings against the problem we started with. If it did not move anything, we say so.
Booking integrations: Cliniko, Nookal, Halaxy and Splose
Cliniko is the practice software we see most. Its online bookings can be added to a website either as a link or button that opens your Cliniko booking page, or embedded so patients book without leaving your site (Cliniko help, Set up online bookings). The catch is measurement. Cliniko's embedded booking portal is an iframe, and Cliniko's own GA4 article explains that the referral source does not pass from your site into the iframe, so embedded bookings report as Direct unless the tracking is set up around that limit, and no third party code is allowed to run inside the booking pages (Cliniko help, Connect online bookings with GA4, updated May 2026). FFP sets GA4 up with that in mind, tracks the book button and the booking steps the portal does expose, and tells you plainly what the numbers can and cannot show.
Nookal, Halaxy and Splose each publish their own online booking page and embed. Whichever you run, FFP wires it into the site the same way, with the booking button in the first screen and the click tracked in GA4. If you are weighing up a move between them, the call is a fair place to ask, and we will say which one fits the way your reception works.
Ahpra advertising rules, kept on the page
Section 133(1)(c) of the National Law prohibits testimonials in advertising a regulated health service, so a physio site carries no review widget and no patient quotes about treatment, and before and after photos are treated the same way (Ahpra advertising guidelines). Reviews still matter, they just live on your Google Business Profile where patients leave them unprompted. Our free guide to the Ahpra advertising rules for allied health covers the rest, including discounts, titles and free offers.
Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy, Newmarket
Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy, at 240 Enoggera Rd in Newmarket, Brisbane, is FFP's longest running client. The work there so far has been the clinic website's policy pages (14 policy pages and a legal section, live since September 2026), the tracking and advertising setup on the clinic's education site, and setting Claude up at reception. Bobbie-Jo Strong, the owner and principal physiotherapist, on working with FFP:
You will actually enjoy talking to David, because he gets it. And if he doesn't get it, he will look into it without making you sound obsolete.
Straight answers
What does a physio clinic website cost? It is quoted after a 15 minute call, as one fixed price for the work we agree on. You see the price in writing before anything starts, and nothing is added later without you saying yes first.
Will I be locked in? No. The site sits on your own domain, the hosting, analytics and booking accounts are in your name, and if you ever want someone else to look after it, everything is handed over.
Do you work with Cliniko, Nookal, Halaxy or Splose? Yes. Cliniko is the one we see most. Whichever practice software you run, its online booking is embedded or linked on the site so patients book straight into your real diary, and the booking clicks show up in GA4.
